Job summary

Nextaff is seeking a Production Associate I in Somerville, Tennessee. This entry-level role supports a production line by following instructions, assembling components, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. No prior manufacturing experience is required as training is provided.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with overtime as needed. You will work under the supervision of a Working Supervisor / Production Team Lead and contribute to timely production and quality goals on the line.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supply materials, load/unload components, and package products from the assembly line.
• Perform basic manufacturing tasks such as cap assembly and box loading.
• Execute prep work and cleanup of line components and materials.
• Perform general cleanup duties and maintain a neat work area.
• Load small boxes and finished goods onto pallets as directed.
• Adhere to safety rules and GMPs at all times.
• Remain at assigned position at shift start.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Associate I is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible forperforming basic unskilled and semi-skilled manual tasks on a production line. This rolefollows instructions from experienced employees to support the flow of materials,assemble components, package products, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Noprior manufacturing experience is required; training is provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced team members to supply materials, load and unload components, and package products from the assembly line.
• Perform basic manufacturing tasks including cap assembly, jar loading, box assembly, box loading, and component packaging.
• Perform prep work and cleanup of components and materials required on the line.
• Perform general cleanup duties including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
• Load small boxes and finished goods onto pallets as directed.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
• Remain at assigned position and be prepared for tasks at the start of each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• No prior manufacturing experience required; training provided.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by production needs.
• Ability to reach with arms; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or sit throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift loads ranging from 5 to 30 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires walking, standing, sitting, twisting, bending, squatting, climbing stairs,reaching, pulling, and pushing. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on occasion. Frequentcomputer usage and the ability to use both hands and feet, arms, and legs.
