Job summary

Peak Workforce Solutions in Jackson, TN is seeking a dedicated Production Associate for our client. The role pays $16.50 - $17.00 per hour and offers 6:00AM - 6:00PM or 6:00PM - 6:00AM shifts. Responsibilities include verifying counts, sorting by grade, and placing rejects on designated areas on the conveyor line.

Employees will rotate through various positions, assist in other plant areas as needed, and maintain a safe, clean work area while adhering to SOP and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more production or quality experience.
• Professionalism and a positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attendance record.
• Ability to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Verify the count, look at, and manage the product, as required by nature, to determine the grade and identify substandard products as they pass down the conveyor line.
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas. Add supplemental products to bring the original product to specifications.
• Notify the Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions on the line.
• May be directed to assist in other plant areas as production demands require.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices.
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required following SOP.
