Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Tolleson, AZ is hiring for a Fortify Building Solutions manufacturing role on 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm). Position pays $18.00 per hour base plus $1.00 shift differential and quarterly bonus opportunities. Site: 660 S 91st Ave, Tolleson, AZ 85353.

This role supports pre-engineered metal buildings and related components. Responsibilities include manual material handling, packaging, stacking, assisting machine operators, using basic hand tools, and working safely

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience in manufacturing or similar environment
• Forklift experience a plus
• Overhead crane experience a plus
• In-house forklift/overhead crane training and certification provided by the company
• General math skills and ability to use basic measuring tools
• Ability to work in a hot environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour + $1.00 in shift differential

Bonus Pay every 3 months

2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre‑engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manual material handling
• Packaging
• Stacking material
• Assisting machine operators
• Handle basic powered hand tools
• Work safely and effectively to meet deadlines
• Work safely and collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
• Forklift experience a plus
• Overhead crane experience a plus
• Company provides in house training and certification of forklift/overhead crane
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
• Able to work in a hot environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
