Job summary

International Paper is hiring a Production Associate for Tipton, IN. Start pay is $21.22 per hour with shift premiums after training and potential increases after a 90-day probation. The role includes counting, stacking, reading orders, operating heavy machinery, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Overtime and weekend work are expected as needed.

Position may involve quality, production, or shipping duties with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the plant.

Qualifications

• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong emphasis on safety and organized work area.
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Count and stack finished product.
• Read and interpret factory orders.
• Operate machines and assist with setup according to position.
• Use basic shop math and inspect products.
• Complete quality and administrative documentation as directed.
• Assist with cleanup and machine area maintenance.

The Job You Will Perform

• Counting and stacking finished product;
• Reading factory orders.
• Operating machines; including heavy machinery pending position
• Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting;
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions; and
• This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning machinery, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
