Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Champaign, IL is seeking motivated production associates to join our team. The role includes safe operation of production lines, loading materials, packaging, and maintaining GMP standards in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd, with 8-hour days, weekend availability, and potential overtime. Training is provided; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing preferred; training provided
• Able to operate a forklift – Kraft Heinz will train
• Able to operate a computer
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to stand for extended periods

• Able to understand & follow instructions, excellent oral & written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials and packaging into machines; verify materials
• Monitor product flow and quality; report defects or issues
• Package finished goods per specifications
• Stack, palletize, and wrap product; move materials using carts or forklift
• Operate production machinery; start/stop lines; adjust speed/settings
• Sanitation as required in processing and packaging areas
• Document pertinent information as required
• Follow safety rules and GMPs at all times
• Maintain PPE standards per policy
• Report safety hazards, near misses, injuries, or food safety concerns
• Comply with company policies and safety rules; participate in meetings
• Fill in for other positions and train other employees
• Perform other duties as assigned
