Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Champaign, IL is hiring general production workers for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting hourly wage is $20.07–$23.72 with shift premium and overtime potential. Flexible scheduling, 8-hour days, weekends required, and extensive on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities include loading materials, monitoring product flow, packaging goods, and ensuring GMP and PPE rules are followed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing is preferred, but we will train the right candidates.
• Able to operate a forklift; Kraft Heinz will provide training.
• Able to operate a computer and lift up to 50 lbs; able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials and packaging supplies into machines or workstations; verify correct materials are being used.
• Monitor product flow and quality during production; identify and report defects, contamination risks, or equipment issues.
• Package finished goods accurately per specifications (case counts, labels, codes, allergens, date/lot coding).
• Stack, palletize, and wrap product; move materials/finished goods using carts, pallet jacks, or forklift.
