Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Champaign plant is seeking a Line Technician for 2nd and 3rd shift. The role involves maintaining production line equipment, inspecting, modifying and troubleshooting to meet safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts include 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am), with weekend availability required and potential overtime. Training of production line staff and adherence to PPE and safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude.
• Able to safely and effectively operate power tools, hand tools, and electrical/instrument test equipment.
• Previous manufacturing experience, automotive technician experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, inspection, lubrication and adjustment.
• Operate equipment to optimize quality and productivity and perform changesovers.
• Complete preventative maintenance by developing, updating, and executing maintenance processes.
• Overhaul equipment, perform modifications and installations.
• Train production line associates.
