Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a production associate to support manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, packaging, and shipping of transducers and probes for internal and external customers.

The role involves following procedures, maintaining output, and collaborating with team leaders to improve quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Must have a High School diploma and 0–6 months of related manufacturing experience.

  • Ability to communicate and understand instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Performs manufacturing/assembly operations following procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintains daily production output and quality across tasks.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and supports documentation accuracy.
  • Follows EHS and Quality policies and participates in inspections.
  • Works with team leaders and engineers to improve quality and efficiency.
  • May assist training peers and participate in quality activities.

Job Summary

The production associate may have responsibilities including manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, packaging, machine operations and shipping of transducers and probes to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Performs manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
  • Maintains daily production output.
  • Performs basic manufacturing/assembly/refurbishment operations.
  • Completes basic troubleshooting.
  • Ensures manufacturing documentation is correct and current.
  • Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Participates in quality control inspections when required.
  • Works with team leaders, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
  • Completes other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.
  • Works with team to improve quality and reduce cycle time.
  • Participates in 55S activities led by team lead/management.
  • May assist with training peers when required.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced and stressful environment.

  • Read and follow procedures/schematics for standard operations.
  • High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent.
  • 0 to 6 months of related manufacturing experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
  • Must be able to visually inspect machines.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
