GE HealthCare is seeking an assembler to build complex medical devices through precise assembly, inspection, and documentation. This role involves working with microscopes, measuring tools, and hand instruments to follow documented procedures.
You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues, perform quality checks, and ensure traceable records while adhering to FDA and GMP requirements. Overtime may be required as needed.
Performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and support production assembly and functions of a semiskilled nature to build and assemble complex units. Determines and follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, testing, trouble shooting and manufacturing of transducers. Have a vast knowledge of the various building processes within the department. Demonstrates advanced manufacturing skills and efficiently completes daily tasks according to the standard times without sacrificing the quality of the product. An Assembler should have strong soft skills, be a person who can work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. General knowledge of the MRP system.
General office/manufacturing environment. Potential exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools. Requires manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small objects.
