GE HealthCare in State College, PA is seeking an assembler to perform a wide range of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical assembly tasks for complex medical devices. You will follow approved procedures, work with microscopes, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 3–4 years related experience, strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, good communication skills, and the ability to read and follow
Performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and support production assembly and functions of a semiskilled nature to build and assemble complex units. Determines and follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, testing, trouble shooting and manufacturing of transducers. Have a vast knowledge of the various building processes within the department. Demonstrates advanced manufacturing skills and efficiently completes daily tasks according to the standard times without sacrificing the quality of the product. An Assembler should have strong soft skills, be a person who can work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. General knowledge of the MRP system.
