Job summary

Creative Foam Corporation in the United States is seeking a General Labor team member for the first shift. You will perform a variety of manufacturing support tasks including assembly, cleaning, machine setup and operation, molding, trimming, packaging, quality inspection, sorting and labeling.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and teamwork, with opportunities to participate in continuous improvement. Must be able to bend, lift and stand for the shift and maintain a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that parts being produced conform to customer quality requirements.
• Ensure that parts are trimmed, assembled and otherwise processed to customer quality requirements.
• Ensure that parts are packaged in the correct method with correct packaging quantities.
• Ensure that all necessary data is correctly entered into the Plex manufacturing system.
• Alert appropriate personnel of quality deficiencies in a timely manner
• Alert appropriate personnel of equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in maintaining a clean facility whenever possible.
• Follow Creative Foam policies and procedures.
• Promote the organization’s safety efforts and maintain a safe working environment.
• Positively reinforce production goals, standards and work ethic in every area of the facility
• Maintain 5S systems for their work area.
• Perform other tasks as required.
• First Shift Hours are 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.

MAJOR FUNCTION:
