Job summary

Carlisle is seeking an entry-level forklift operator in Tyler, Texas. You will assist operators on the line, build pallets, band and palletize materials, and perform quality checks while complying with safety requirements.

The role offers an hourly rate around $20.49 with benefits starting on day one, including health coverage and a 401(k) match, along with paid holidays and tuition reimbursement. Training for forklift operation is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to read documents and interpret facts and draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Detect and report faulty operations or defective materials.

• Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
• Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
• Detects andreportsfaulty operations or defective materials.
• Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
• Read and understand production orders.
• Wraps and unwraps materials.
• Housekeeping of work areas.
• Operates a sit-down forklift.
• Achieves production goals whilecomplying withall safety requirements.
• Will berequiredto perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

RequiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Mustbe 18 years or older.
• Ability to safelyoperatea forklift. Training and certification provided regardless ofpreviousexperience.

Working Conditions:

• Production facility where the ambient temperature may fluctuate, and the noise levels may be increased.
