Job summary

Carlisle is seeking an entry-level Helper at our Tyler, TX facility. You will assist line operators with coil loading, palletizing, banding, labeling, and quality checks while adhering to safety standards. The role requires reading production orders, using hand and power tools, and maintaining organized work areas.

Forklift operation is performed as needed, with training provided. We offer comprehensive benefits and onsite employment with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to safely operate a forklift (training provided).
• Read and interpret documents and production orders.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills required.
• Good communication, organization, and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators at coil loading and packaging ends of the line.
• Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• Band and palletize metal coils and/or sheets, labeling finished products.
• Perform quality checks on lengths, widths, and weights with proper tools.
• Detect and report faulty operations or materials.
• Move parts, equipment, or materials as needed.
• Read and understand production orders and wrap/unwrap materials.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas; operate a sit-down forklift as required.
• Meet production goals while complying with safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
• Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
• Detects andreportsfaulty operations or defective materials.
• Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
• Read and understand production orders.
• Wraps and unwraps materials.
• Housekeeping of work areas.
• Operates a sit-down forklift.
• Achieves production goals whilecomplying withall safety requirements.
• Will berequiredto perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

RequiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Mustbe 18 years or older.
• Ability to safelyoperatea forklift. Training and certification provided regardless ofpreviousexperience.
• Ability to read documents and interpret facts and draw conclusions.
• Understanding basic math, reading, and writing.
