Position: Production AssociateLocation: WaynesvillePay Rate: $19.32/hour (+$2.00 night shift differential)Shift: Day Shift or Night Shift Available | 12-hour shiftsSummary DescriptionWhile reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Production Associate (Inspector/Packer) is responsible for packing thermoformed trays quickly, safely, and accurately while supporting production flow and quality standards.What You’ll Be DoingRetrieve parts from trim pressPlace parts in specified relationship to each otherInspect stacks of parts for defectsPlace parts in bags, seal bags, and place them into corrugated boxesTend machines such as trim press and pack station parts-handling equipmentCut and stack sheet when neededGrind sheet and trays as neededBuild and/or stage all packaging material per product specificationFill out labels and flow bills correctlyUse pallet jacks to place skids of product in the warehouseAssist the Operator when starting the lineHelp train new employees when necessaryFollow all safety policies and proceduresFollow housekeeping standardsComply with all company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as requested by the SupervisorWork overtime as requiredWe’d Love to Hear From You IfYou are mission-driven and quality focusedPrevious packing or warehouse experience is helpfulYou have a strong “get it done” attitude and urgency in completing tasksYou have strong written and verbal communication skillsYou can work independently while managing multiple tasksYou are reliable, proactive, and committedYou can lift up to 50 pounds as neededYou work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentYou can read and understand manufacturing instructionsYou can perform repetitive duties, including stairs and standing for long periodsYou can work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detailNo prior manufacturing experience is requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentBenefitsAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support overall wellbeing.
