Shift Details

12‑hour rotating shifts (AM/PM). Rotating work week with every other weekend off.

Night shift hours: 6:40 PM‑7:00 AM.

Starting pay: $19.00 per hour, with $2.00 shift differential.

Additional $1.00 increase after certification.

Sign‑on bonus: $1,000.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor production equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Accurately perform board inspections and measure objects using a standard tape measure and a six‑inch scale.
• Accurately document production data and quality checks.
• Operate unit wrapper and perform all associated tasks.
• Operate board grinders and prepare and feed scrap products.
• Operate compactor equipment and perform associated tasks.
• Properly set up and operate cutting machine.
• Operate printer equipment and barcode machine.
• Operate a tow motor and obtain license.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work area.

Additional Responsibilities

• Read and understand production schedule.
• Comply with all plant rules.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain regular attendance and a good attendance record.
• Be a team player.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience Preferred

• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Production work, production associate, assembly.
• Production laborer, grinder, assembler.
• Production equipment operator, set up experience.

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read tape measurers accurately.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Essential Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance.
• Work up to 12 hours in hot or cold manufacturing environment.
• Walk/stand on concrete floor continuously for up to 12 hours.
• Safeguard self with personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties.
