Job summary

Clarios is hiring a Production Associate at the St. Joseph Distribution Center in Missouri. The role operates on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and pays $25.00 per hour.

The position involves running and monitoring automated lines, performing quality checks, and following computer specifications to ensure customer requirements are met. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and an annual bonus opportunity up to 4% based on plant performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable working in hot environments (up to 100°F).
• Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Must wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, uniform, safety boots).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated shipping and decorating line equipment.
• Perform process and quality checks to ensure product meets customer specifications.
• Retrieve and follow specifications from the computer terminal.
• Remove process vents, decorate batteries, and reapply finish vents.
• Polish terminals and test quality using Bitrode or Hi-Rater equipment.
• Palletize batteries per customer requirements using OPS procedures and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance within scope of role.
• Rotate through line positions to maintain production flow and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; support housekeeping and 5S.
