Job summary

Peak Workforce Solutions seeks a Production Associate for our client in Jackson, TN. Hourly pay is $16.50–$17.00 with shifts 6:00AM–6:00PM or 6:00PM–6:00AM.

Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life insurance and short-term disability from start, plus ACA coverage after 1 year. Responsibilities include inspecting products, sorting by grade, placing rejects, notifying supervisor of issues, rotating through line positions, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and following SOPs and PPE

Responsibilities

• Verify the count, inspect and manage the product to determine grade and identify substandard items on the conveyor line.
• Place rejected products and different grades of products in designated piles or containers; adjust to specifications.
• Notify the Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions on the line.
• Assist in other plant areas as production demands require.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area; follow SOP and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay $16.50 - $17.00 per hour.

Shifts: 6:00AM - 6:00PM or 6:00PM - 6:00AM.

Responsibilities:

• Verify the count, look at, and manage the product, as required by nature, to determine the grade and identify substandard products as they pass down the conveyor line.
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas. Add supplemental products to bring the original product to specifications.
• Notify the Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions on the line.
• May be directed to assist in other plant areas as production demands require.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices.
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required following SOP.
