Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Hicksville, NY is seeking a Production Associate for a 3+ month contract (temp to hire). The role involves following supervisor directions to meet production demands while ensuring quality and safety.

You will handle transfer of carts between fillers and chillers, orient product at Garvey table, and assist in maintaining 5S and HACCP compliance. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a noisy, multi-zone environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor directions to meet production demands while upholding safety and quality.
• Transfer carts of production to and from chillers and organize at the WIP area.
• Orient product alignment at Garvey table area and flip trays in chillers when needed.
• Rework products not meeting specifications and report discrepancies.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and promote a safe environment.
• Follow HACCP, GMP and company safety policies; may transfer to kitchen area as needed.

Job Title: Production AssociateLocation: 50 Ludy Street, Hicksville, NY, USA, 11802Duration: 3+ months contract(Temp to Hire)**Pay-rate range: $18/hr. on w2.Shift: MON – FRI, 6am - 3:30pm****Steel Toe shoes Required********Summary: Production Associate is responsible for taking direction from the supervisor in order to meet production demands while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.****Job Functions**Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision Attending area of transfer from filler to chiller. Inform Supervisors and or Lead of any discrepancy on product information. Transferring carts of production in and out of chillers and placing them orderly at the WIP area. Orient product alignment in the Garvey table area Flip trays in chillers when needed. Reworking product that is below specifications.Keeping work area clean and organized, following the “5 S” program. Promoting a safe work environment at all times. Follow HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices.Comply with Food and Personal Safety Procedures, company Policies and regulations. Other duties, as assigned including transferring to Kitchen area as needed.
