Job summary

Newsmax Media Inc is seeking a Production Assistant / Podcast Coordinator in Washington DC to support script editing, scheduling, travel logistics and post-production documentation. You will assist with podcast production, guest coordination and social media strategy while maintaining accurate logs and metadata.

The role requires 2+ years in a related field, a BA in Communications or related area, and strong writing and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ post college work experience in a creative function such as TV production, marketing, radio, or social media.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Broadcasting/Marketing or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of politics, journalism, and current events.
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work under deadlines.
• Flexible shifts; evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook; technical skill with non-linear broadcast video editing equipment is a plus.
