Job Description

Shamrock Roofing is an established roofing and construction company servicing the metro-Kansas City area since 1977. Recently, our business has expanded across the Midwest, including Des Moines, Lincoln, Omaha, and St. Louis.

We are currently hiring a Production Assistant to support our Production crew and perform various tasks throughout the Greater Kansas City area.

The Production Assistant will develop schedules for specific projects, assist in planning, and coordinate various project activities. This role does not involve direct labor on construction sites.

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Communicate regularly with clients
• Respond to inquiries and questions
• Manage documents such as subcontractor requisitions, vendor invoices, and project records
• Coordinate with Project Managers and the Production Team
• Participate in safety practices and ensure compliance with safety laws
• Attend meetings with subcontractors
• Approve jobs and schedule crews
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections
• Provide customer care
• Assist the sales team with order input and scope reviews
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 based on experience
• Monday-Friday, in-office position
• Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance after 30 days
• PTO accrual after 30 days
• 401K plan after 6 months

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Experience with roofing CRM systems, specifically Acculynx
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with others and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in construction, roofing, or insurance industries
• Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hardworking with a proactive attitude
• Adaptability
• Bilingual skills are a plus
