Job summary

Prototek is seeking a Production Assistant for 3D Printing and manufacturing in Madison, WI. In this role you will support 3D printing and casting, perform finishing, inspect parts, read prints, and operate tools and equipment in a hands-on production environment.

The position offers training, a standard Monday-Friday schedule, and a competitive pay range of $21-$24 per hour with benefits and opportunities to grow. Prior additive manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in additive manufacturing preferred.
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technologies and materials.
• Ability to read prints or 3D files.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment.
• Experience or familiarity with hand and power tools.

• Support casting and production processes.
• Perform part finishing, cleaning, and post-processing activities.
• Inspect manufactured components for accuracy and quality.
