Job summary

Prototek Digital Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Production Assistant to support 3D printing and casting, perform post-processing, and inspect components for quality. This role offers training and a clear path to grow with a skilled team.

The position runs on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm) with a pay range of $21–$24 per hour. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and some additive manufacturing experience, plus comfort with hand tools and reading prints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required / technical degree (preferred).
• 1+ year experience in additive manufacturing (preferred).
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technologies and materials
• Ability to read prints or 3D files
• Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment
• Experience or familiarity with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with 3D printing and other manufacturing operations.
• Support casting and production processes.
• Perform part finishing, cleaning, and post-processing activities.
• Inspect manufactured components for accuracy and quality.
• Read basic manufacturing drawings and specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• Document production progress in our manufacturing system.
• Support equipment cleaning and routine preventative maintenance.
