Job summary

Cox Manufacturing is a family owned and operated organization dedicated to high-quality precision-machined parts. This full-time role offers a Mon–Fri schedule with two shifts and pay between $17 and $20 per hour.

Training starts on the 1st shift, with a transition to the 2nd shift that adds $2.50/hour after training. Responsibilities include assisting machine operators, performing minor maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness and inventory in the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work both individually and in a team.
• Ability to stand and walk long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs consistently.
• Training: 1st shift 7:00–4:00, then 2nd shift 3:30–12:00.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators running production (e.g., loading material and handling scrap).
• Perform minor preventative maintenance (e.g., changing filters, filling oils/lubes).
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and supplies inventory.
