Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows is hiring for a manufacturing role. You will interpret blueprints and instructions to produce high-quality components, and operate hydraulic/mechanical presses up to 1,200 tons with a focus on safety and precision.

Training is provided for stamping, with exposure to Inconel, AM350, and titanium stock. You will perform set-ups, in-process inspections, and use SPC and precision tools to ensure consistent quality.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or quality preferred, but not necessary - we'll train you!

Responsibilities

  • Work from blueprints, route sheets, and written instructions to produce high-quality components.
  • Set up and run hydraulic and mechanical presses ranging from 150 tons to 1,200 tons, ensuring safe and precise operation.
  • Perform rubber-to-metal stamping (training provided) to the right candidate.
  • Work with Inconel (Inco), AM350, and titanium strip stock with thicknesses ranging from .001' to .008', maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform set‑ups (or request assistance for complex set‑ups) and conduct in-process inspections per ES Specifications to ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Verify product quality using SPC and a range of precision measuring tools, including contour readers and non-contact measuring systems, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Use basic computer skills to perform labor transactions and other required system functions with accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

  2. Set up and run hydraulic and mechanical presses ranging from 150 tons to 1,200 tons, ensuring safe and precise operation.
  3. Perform rubber-to-metal stamping (experience preferred but not required; training provided) to the right candidate.
  4. Work with various materials, including Inconel (Inco), AM350, and titanium strip stock with thicknesses ranging from .001' to .008', maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  5. Perform set‑ups (or request assistance for complex set‑ups) and conduct in-process inspections per ES Specifications to ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality requirements. Maintain set‑ups and make minor adjustments as needed, escalating unusual issues to the supervisor.
  6. Verify product quality using quantitative charting methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and a range of precision measuring tools, including contour readers and non-contact measuring systems, with meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Use basic computer skills to perform labor transactions and other required system functions with accuracy and completeness.

Hourly Rate Range

Hourly Rate Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour with a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
