Staffmark is hiring a Production Assistant in Foley, MN to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble, inspect, and pack products, with shifts on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and pay rates of $21.00–$24.00 per hour.

You will help maintain production goals, safety, and quality standards across all shifts, emphasizing attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. This role offers opportunities for skill growth and advancement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Able to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to understand and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Willingness to successfully complete classroom and on-the-job training programs.
  • Entry-level manufacturing position; no prior manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and secondary production operations according to quality and safety standards.
  • Complete orientation, training, and skills development programs while learning manufacturing processes.
  • Follow instructions from trainers and supervisors to safely and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas, including aisles, staging locations, storage areas, and production workstations.
  • Remove empty or damaged pallets and properly label production and recycled materials.
  • Accurately record work activities and utilize company timekeeping systems.
  • Communicate production concerns, quality issues, and operational updates to supervisors and team members.
  • Support housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet daily production goals and minimize downtime.

Pay Rate: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour

Schedules:

  • 1st Shift | 7 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday – Friday PM | $21/hr.
  • 2nd Shift | 3 PM – 11:30 PM | Monday – Friday | $24/hr.
  • 3rd Shift | 11 PM – 7:30 AM | Sunday – Thursday | $24/hr.

Physical Capabilities

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, moving machinery, heat, noise, and other industrial conditions.
  • Capable of maintaining productivity during extended periods of machine monitoring and assembly work.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
