Job summary

Redwire's Goleta facility is Made for the Mission, delivering advanced power generation technologies for spacecraft across orbit. We seek a Production Asset Lead to maintain all production assets on the manufacturing floor, oversee calibrated equipment, plan proof loads, and manage media equipment.

This role bridges engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, IT, and business systems to create safe, documented workflows.

Qualifications

• Highschool GED with practical hands-on technical skills; vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, assembly and testing production hardware.
• Experience with calibrated tooling (torque wrenches, load cells, etc.).
• Experience with cranes, hoists, overhead lifting equipment, rigging, pallet lifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead for load testing, create lifting plans and evaluate lifting practices.
• Translate proof load requirements into tested plans and coordinate with engineering to develop specs.
• Ensure requirements traceability and verification through test execution.
• Control and manage calibrated tooling and distribute tools for manufacturing.
• Serve as technical gate keeper of tooling and torque verification activities as needed.
• Manage all media equipment used in production and testing (cameras, recorders, microphones).
