Job summary

Outland Technology in Slidell, LA is seeking an in-person electromechanical assembler to build products per drawings and work instructions. You will solder wires, connectors, and circuit boards, and troubleshoot issues with engineering input.

Candidates should read basic mechanical/electrical drawings, use hand tools and measurement tools, and maintain high quality. Regular hours and on-site work are expected, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Prior experience in electronic or mechanical assembly strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and basic measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Must pass a routine drug screening for illegal substances.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
