Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders in English.
• Willingness to learn multiple positions within the cell, including paint line operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work with teams.
• Forklift experience preferred and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies per established processes and work instructions.
• Support paint line operations and rotate as needed.
• Perform visual inspections for specifications and quality.
• Verify alignment, fit, operation, and retention of assemblies.
• Maintain tools, read blueprints, and follow production documentation.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers; participate in training as needed.
• Identify and help resolve production issues; adhere to safety and quality standards.

Position Summary

The Production Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies and supporting paint line operations for Haulotte aerial work platforms, including Telescopic Boom Lifts, Articulating Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and Trailer-Mounted Booms. This role ensures products are built safely, accurately, and to high-quality standards for durability, performance, and appearance. The operator will primarily work in Assembly and rotate to the Paint Line as needed.

Assembly Functions

• Handle, position, and place components or sub-assemblies using appropriate tools and equipment, including cranes, slings, hand tools, and power tools
• Assemble components according to established processes and work instructions
• Perform visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
• Verify proper assembly, alignment, fit, operation, and retention
• Correct minor deviations as needed
• Maintain production tools in good working condition
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leaders, and coworkers
• Assist in training new employees as needed
• Proactively identify and help resolve production issues
• Support paint line operations when assigned
• Follow all safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing, assembly, or industrial painting experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions in English
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Willingness to learn multiple positions within the work cell, including paint line operations
• Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Commitment to safety and quality

Hours: 7a-3:30p M-F
