Job summary

JEL Manufacturing LLC is seeking a painter/assembler to clean, prime and paint metal fabrications using rollers, brushes, and related equipment. The role also supports mechanical assembly and requires comfort with hand and power tools, ladders, and heights up to 15 feet.

The successful candidate will learn crane and forklift operations over time, work at heights, and maintain safe handling of primers and paints while contributing to cross-functional skill development.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read drawings/manufacturing prints.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Experience with mechanical assembly.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a painter / assembler. The primary responsibility of the selected applicant will to clean, prime and painting the metal fabrications we manufacture using rollers, brushes and similar equipment. This person will also assist in mechanical assembly of the equipment we manufacture and should be comfortable working with hand and power tools. Applicants should be comfortable using a manlift and ladder to work at heights up to 15'. Applicants must also be able or willing to learn the operation of cranes and forklifts.
