Job summary

Caron Scientific is seeking Production Assemblers to join our team in Ohio. You will perform a variety of assembly operations on product components and sub-assemblies, ensuring high quality within set timeframes and contributing to continuous improvement on the production floor.

Responsibilities include assembling parts, performing quality checks, using power and hand tools, reading blueprints, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership to drive positive change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
  • Able to stay organized and prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and components to produce finished products per specifications.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet requirements.
  • Use power and hand tools for assembly tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
  • Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals for assembly guidance.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and report major defects to supervision.
  • Monitor and replenish inventory of assembly materials and parts.
  • Test assembled products to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Participate in team meetings and trainings to improve skills and knowledge.

At Caron Scientific, we’re seeking dedicated Production Assemblers to help build crucial laboratory equipment that make a difference. You’ll be performing a variety of assembly operations on product components and sub‑assemblies, ensuring the highest quality within set timeframes while contributing to continuous improvement on the production floor.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts and components to produce finished products according to company’s specifications
  • Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet the required specifications
  • Use power and hand tools to perform assembly tasks
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company protocols and safety procedures
  • Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints and product manuals to understand assembly instructions
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and report any major defects or issues to the supervisor
  • Monitor and replenish inventory of necessary assembly materials and parts
  • Test assembled products to ensure functionality and performance
  • Participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance skills and maintain knowledge of company procedures and products
Qualifications

  • Self starter and commitment to being a strong team player who is also comfortable with ambiguity

  • Attention to details, especially with documentation
  • Physically able to lift and move product weighing 50lbs+
