Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Production Assistant to support a local manufacturing team. You will operate machinery, work with fiberglass, perform light assembly, testing, inspecting, cleaning and packing, and use hand tools and measuring devices.

This is a first shift, full-time position with occasional overtime on Fridays. The role offers weekly pay and benefits through Express, including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan, and training

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Dependability is essential for this role.
• Mechanical skills are required to operate machinery and handle materials.
• Strong communication and math/measuring abilities are important.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery.

A local manufacturer is looking for Production candidates. This is an opportunity to make things that no one else in the world does!

Production Assistant Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery
• Working with fiberglass material
• Light assembly work, testing, inspecting, cleaning and packing
• Using hand tools and measuring tools: rulers, calipers and micrometers
• Troubleshoot production issues
• Maintain a clean work area

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, Friday overtime as needed
• $20.00/HR

Production Assistant Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently, or as part of a team, with minimal supervision;
• Dependability a must;
• Mechanical skills

• Great math and measuring
• Lifting up to 60 pounds and able to stand for the whole shift
