Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Production Assembly & Inspection Technician to join a local manufacturing team in Grants Pass, OR. No prior manufacturing experience is required—we will train the right candidate for a 6-month seasonal assignment with potential to become permanent work based on performance.

Starting pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday–Thursday with early and later shift variations; Friday–Sunday off.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products for shipment and ensure quality before delivery.
• Identify problems and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Production Assembly & Inspection Technician to join a local manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys hands-on work. No previous manufacturing experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

This position is initially a 6-month seasonal assignment with the potential to become a permanent, full-time opportunity based on business needs and performance.

Schedule & Pay

• $17.00-18.00 per hour starting pay
• Monday–Thursday schedule
• Initial schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• After training: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
• Friday–Sunday off
• Potential bonuses based on length of employment and company performance

Job Duties

• Assemble products according to drawings, work instructions, and specifications
• Inspect incoming materials and finished products
• Perform pressure testing and document results
• Operate equipment used for marking parts
• Maintain accurate test, inspection, inventory, and work order records
• Assist with inventory management
• Keep products clean and organized throughout the production process
• Package and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Identify problems and communicate ideas for improving efficiency and product quality
• Follow procedures to ensure quality products are delivered to customers
