Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking an assembly worker for an industrial manufacturing environment. You will assemble doors, boxes, covers, pads, frames, vaults, and more using hand and power tools, grind, and light painting.

You will read production orders, engineering prints, and scheduling data; identify safety hazards; perform TPM checks; and inspect materials for defects. Strong attention to detail and ability to read prints are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read engineering prints.
• Light welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret Production Work Orders (PWO), Assembly Pick Sheets (Orders), Engineering Prints, and Daily production schedule.
• Identify safety hazards in the assembly area.
• Perform TPM, maintenance checks on area equipment daily and weekly.
• Inspect material, products, or equipment for defects.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
