Job summary

Wabash in Lafayette, IN is seeking an Assembler to build subassemblies, install decals, and operate rivet punching on the production floor. You will follow safety, quality, and delivery standards while using a variety of hand and power tools.

No prior experience is required as Wabash provides comprehensive training and orientation, with opportunities to advance into more specialized assembly work within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills.
• Experience and education are a plus; training provided on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality, and delivery performance.
• Keep the work area free of hazards.
• Measure, cut and caulk materials as needed.
• Install rivets and assemble component parts.
• Operate heavy machinery and install decals.
• Follow blueprints and decal templates.
• Work with various tools and equipment listed above.
