Job summary

Wabash is seeking Assemblers to perform a variety of tasks including installing subassemblies, assembling component parts, operating rivet punchers, and installing decals. The company provides training after an offer letter to prepare you for the production floor.

You will work in an environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time delivery, with PPE required and a broad range of tools and equipment used on the production line.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills

Responsibilities

• Owning and helping improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery
• Keeping the work area free of any potential work hazards
• Measuring, cutting and caulking materials
• Installing rivets
• Operating heavy machinery
• Installing truck bed flooring
• Following decal templates & blueprints
• Installing signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps, and other associated parts
• Performing additional work assigned by the supervisor or coordinator, which may require the employee to assist in different departments)
• Wearing approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc.
• Completing assigned duties in accordance with safety, policies, and practices, including your individual safety, as well as the safety of co-workers, and the safe use of equipment in the workplace
