Job summary

Milgard Windows and Doors (A MITER Brands Company) in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Production Assembler I to build vinyl windows and patio doors in a fast-paced environment. You will perform basic to intermediate assembly tasks, follow work instructions, and contribute to quality and safety as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or ability to obtain).
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or hands-on work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions.
• Comfort using basic hand tools and equipment (training provided).
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, cross-train, and grow within the role.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Experience working in a fast-paced or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks involved in the construction of windows and patio doors
• Follow standard work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
• Inspect your own work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and efficiency goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Support flexibility by assisting in different assembly areas as needed
