Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking an assembler to join the manufacturing team in a hands-on role. The candidate will assemble mechanical and electrical components, calibrate and test units, and ensure compliance with specifications.

The position may involve occasional overtime and shift variation to meet production goals. Required education is a High School Diploma or GED with 0-3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units per specs.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units on the line.
• Test and calibrate parts to ensure tolerances and quality.
• Repair or refit parts that fail tests or tolerance levels.
• Keep daily assembly production records and maintain a clean work area.
