Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Production Assembler II to build subassemblies and complete units using hand and power tools. Responsibilities include assembling parts, aligning components, testing and calibrating to meet tolerances, and maintaining production records.

Must be able to work outside normal hours and lift up to 45 pounds. Requires HS diploma or GED and 2–4 years manufacturing experience; candidate may obtain forklift

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 2–4 years’ manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required
• Ability to obtain forklift operator certification

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established procedures.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
• May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
• Keeps daily assembly production records.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
