Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to support production by assembling, inspecting, and packaging products at our facility in Virginia.

You will use hand and power tools, follow work instructions, and work closely with team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to read instructions and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, distribution, or industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation as required.
• Follow established manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and workstation organization.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production objectives.
• Participate in and follow lean manufacturing methodologies and manufacturing practices
• Perform other duties as assigned.
