Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, the manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean, is seeking an Assembler 2 to join our production team north of Richmond. You will perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly under supervision, following drawings and wiring diagrams to build high-quality hardware.

This role offers growth, hands-on wiring tasks, training opportunities for Assembler 1, and a path to advanced manufacturing roles. Overtime and flexible scheduling may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2+ years of assembly experience.
• Ability to read basic drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with standard hand tools and basic wiring tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on routine assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly using hand and power tools with moderate supervision.
• Complete basic wiring tasks, including routing and terminations, per diagrams and standards.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, wire lists, and other documentation to complete tasks.
• Identify and communicate issues, defects, or inconsistencies in components or documentation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on routine assembly problems and escalate when needed.
• Maintain organized work areas, manage materials, and support workflow efficiency.
• Assist in training or guiding Assembler 1 employees on basic tasks and safe practices.
• Collaborate with team to ensure assemblies meet production and quality requirements.
