Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN is seeking a Production Assembler for the 1st shift to assemble, test, and inspect high-quality fitness equipment in a collaborative manufacturing environment. You’ll prepare materials, assemble products, and verify operation per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for assembly.
• Assemble products per production schedules and procedures.
• Use hand tools, air tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and testing equipment.
• Inspect during and after assembly to ensure quality.
• Test completed units to verify proper operation.
• Cross-train to work at multiple stations as needed.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns and assist with resolution.
• Follow material replenishment processes to support production flow.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Total Rewards & Pay-

• Base pay: $19.00-$22.13 per hour, based on qualifications and experience

What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with hand and air tools

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs
• Stand for extended periods
• Walk, bend, turn, and reach throughout the shift
• Repetitive motion associated with assembly activities
• Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels

Your base wage will be between $19.00 - $22.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
