Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN is hiring a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to set up and run equipment producing components for premium fitness equipment. You’ll also inspect parts, perform routine maintenance, and document outcomes, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role offers a 4-day workweek, a $2.00 per hour shift differential, and eligibility for a Production Bonus Plan. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 4% match, PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and safety-conscious approach.
• Able to read measurements and follow written instruction in English.
• Able to operate hand tools and production equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple setups and operate equipment (punch press, saws, drills).
• Inspect parts for tolerances and specs.
• Complete required documentation and keep work area clean.

Your base wage will be between $19.00 - $22.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics.
