Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an operator to set up equipment for routine processes and monitor manufacturing operations. Under supervision, you will learn the overall functionality of departmental processes, identify opportunities for improvements, and implement changes in both physical operations and written documents.

You will work with trainers to expand knowledge of work processes, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain operating conditions within the desired range to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Basic technical knowledge with manufacturing experience in a chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, or similar environment.
• Knowledge of department operating procedures, guidelines, compliance and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of basic jobs in assigned area and GMP policies; ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Operate manual or controlled process equipment and monitor manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and learn processes from trainers to implement improvements.
• Work under supervision to meet department goals and participate in meetings.
• Support process improvements and assist in communicating operational events.
