Job summary

Abimar Foods in Abilene, Texas seeks a Production Analyst to document and verify production data in SAP, supporting cost management and reporting.

You will review shift production summaries, ensure accurate paperwork, and coordinate with warehouse to align material usage with BOM while maintaining a safe, efficient work area.

Responsibilities

• Check and review cases produced in shift production summary reports and fix errors.
• Ensure production staff complete the production paperwork accurately and notify correct information.
• Perform production execution by batch in SAP daily.
• Notify process orders to standard and advise warehouse of missing materials for inventory adjustments.
• Complete process orders after verification with warehouse supervisor to match delivery and production execution.
• Recap week-ending inventory for mixing and pre-scale areas and provide to warehouse supervisor.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisor on inventory adjustment analysis.
• Identify and analyze deviations in consumption and compare with BOM.
• Notify Operations Manager of adjustments needed to the BOM.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with all contacts (verbal and written).
• Adapt to changes as needed.
• Ensure activities align with Company Mission Statement.
• Operate job-related equipment with or without accommodations.

Summary:

The Production Analyst is responsible for preparing, verifying and recording the information generated throughout the production process through SAP, in order to support cost management as well as other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check and review cases produced in shift production summary reports and fix them if there are any errors.
• Ensure the production staff and production supervisors who complete the production paperwork are notifying the correct information.
• Production execution by batch in SAP daily.
• Notify process orders to the standard and advise the warehouse department of missing materials needed to make inventory adjustments and be able to consume them.
• Make Technical completed to the process orders after revised with warehouse supervisor that delivery cases and production execution have matched.
• Recap the week ending inventory for the mixing and pre-scale area and provide it to the warehouse supervisor.
• Work together with the warehouse supervisor in the inventory adjustment analysis.
• Identify and analyze deviations in the consumptions and compare them with the bill of materials.
• Notify Operations Manager of any adjustments needed to the Bill of Materials.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
