Factory Motor Parts in Minnesota is seeking an AI Analyst who will design, build, and maintain end-to-end AI systems, including retrieval over internal documents, live data access via agents, and automations that push outputs into daily operations.

The role requires hands-on Python/SQL, deep data modeling, and experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and production tooling like n8n. You will collaborate across Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/DS or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on software, data, or AI engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL abilities.
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompts, and structured outputs.
• End-to-end RAG pipeline experience with embeddings and retrieval evaluation.
• Relational data modeling and query performance understanding.
• REST APIs and webhooks integration experience.
• Version control, testing, and code reviews.
• Clear written communication for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RAG pipelines over internal documents - chunking, embedding, indexing, and hybrid retrieval.
• Develop agent workflows and MCP tools for secure access to live business data, including text-to-SQL against analytics warehouse.
• Build and maintain ELT pipelines and dbt models for analytics and AI consumption.
• Build production automations (n8n) that connect AI output to daily processes across finance, operations, sales, and warehouse teams.
• Build evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and cost controls so AI output is trustworthy before it reaches users.
• Partner with Merchandising, Pricing, Finance, Operations, HR, and Legal to turn business problems into working systems.
