Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Forward-Deployed Principal Services Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy AI agents using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, and related services. You will drive production-ready solutions end-to-end with security guardrails and scalable reference architectures.

You will collaborate with senior architects and partners, lead customer engagements, and coach delivery teams while building reusable components for the practice library.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• 5+ years building enterprise cloud or AI solutions.
• Customer-facing delivery experience with production software.
• Ability to obtain security/certification credentials within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Engineer production agents using shared templates and tooling to ensure consistency across solutions.
• Prototype, validate architectures, and test approaches in real customer environments.
• Apply security, data-boundary, and performance standards to every solution.
• Deploy and govern agents across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams, and related services.
• Collaborate with partners and customers to translate priorities into designs.
• Lead and coach other engineers and partner delivery teams.
