Job summary

Advics is seeking a Production Accounting Supervisor for our Cincinnati Area Office. You will supervise a team handling daily production accounting, high-volume AP/AR, and month-end/year-end closings in Oracle, ensuring accuracy across multiple plants and departments.

You will lead process improvements, mentor staff, and collaborate with internal and external partners while maintaining J-Sox documentation and preparing monthly reporting packages for the Parent Company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.
• 8+ years accounting experience and 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Accounting Operations – Production.
• Manage daily operations, coordinate closing activities, assist in financial reviews and submissions.
• Provide treasury support for cash application and dispute management.
• Ensure accurate production accounting of high-volume AP/AR processing.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close for General Ledger (Sales, COGS, AR, AP).
• Lead journal entries and account reconciliations for operations.
• Utilize Power BI for financial reporting and maintain J-Sox documentation.
• Support tax preparations and filings activities.
