Job summary

PLP is seeking a Product Support Engineer for the Distribution Market to assist the Market Manager with new product development and technical support for product lines. You will help drive U.S. sales by participating in quotes and performing technical reviews of customer requirements.

The role acts as a liaison between sales and engineering to market products and expand the offering, requiring strong communication, drafting, and field installation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering earned from a US university.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of layout and detail drafting techniques.
• Willingness to travel 15–25% domestically, with some international travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Market Manager with new product development and technical support for new and existing product lines.
• Support U.S. Sales growth by participating in quoting activities and technical reviews of customer requirements.
• Liaise between sales and engineering to market products and grow the product offering.
• Create project requests with commercial specifications and track progress through development cycles.
• Review engineering changes and support documentation for bids and proposals.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales network, and international subsidiaries.
• Participate in industry meetings and trade shows.
