Job description

Product Support Coord-Aerospace Logistics

Join us to apply for the Product Support Coord-Aerospace Logistics role at Parker Hannifin.

Position Summary: Under direct supervision or guidance within a team, responsible for performing a variety of product support duties of moderate scope and complexity, such as parts identification, shipping, receiving, warehouse management, etc., following well-defined procedures.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  1. Parts Identification: Use proper identification methods and equipment to identify parts as indicated by picklists, blueprints, or customer requirements.
  2. Shipping: Prepare parts and materials for shipment, complete necessary paperwork, package according to specifications, interpret shipping instructions, mark shipments legibly, prepare air bills and bills of lading, coordinate with carriers.
  3. Receiving/Warehouse: Receive shipments, verify and document incoming/outgoing parts, update system records, prepare parts for storage, select parts for orders, perform cycle counts, maintain inventory locations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; two years related product support experience or demonstrated ability.
  • Ability to implement lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in computer terminal operations and MS Office.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Powerlift (forklift) Operator certification from Stratoflex preferred.
Physical and Mental Demands:

Frequent movement inside the plant, operating computers and machinery, occasional ladder use, handling materials up to 50 lbs., exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous equipment.
