Transportation Coordinator (Project Management)

Job Summary

Answer and respond to Operations Service Inquiries (OSI) and inbound calls from sales reps and other Medline employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Answer OSIs and inbound calls from sales reps and other employees.
2. Determine appropriate modes of transportation for moving products or raw materials between branches, manufacturing facilities, or to customers.
3. Communicate with carriers, operations, sales teams, and occasionally with customers.
4. Participate in department initiatives such as scheduling and inside delivery improvements.
5. Secure rush carriers and rescues as needed.

Required Experience:

1. At least 2 years of experience as a Transportation Coordinator or similar role.
2. Knowledge of transportation practices.
3. Basic understanding of statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with SAP.

The salary range for this position is $20.25 - $28.25 per hour, depending on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. The actual salary will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
